In January of 2009, 116 of Mizzou’s finest young women stepped forward to create something new. Courageously thinking outside the box, these women chartered the Eta Chi chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma on a campus rich with tradition and school pride.

Since that day, our sisterhood has grown by leaps and bounds. Annually, we look forward to participating in Homecoming, GAMMA, RAMS, Greek Week and outside philanthropies, while social and sisterhood events allow us to grow closer and create incredible memories together. Our philanthropy benefits the Tri Sigma Foundation; It runs deep through the heart of each sister by supporting play therapy in honor of one of our own’s son, Robbie Page.

The Sigma experience opens many windows of opportunity for our members; whether on campus, in Columbia or overseas, the women of the Eta Chi chapter are making a difference as Summer Welcome leaders, residence hall advisors, campus tour guides and leaders of other organizations.

Over 100 years ago, Tri Sigma was founded upon the values of wisdom, power, faith, hope and love. Today, our members continue to uphold these values in our commitment to academics, philanthropy and to each other. On April 29th, 2011, Eta Chi is making history again, breaking ground on the site of our future home. We are growing quickly because our passion for Tri Sigma pushes us to work hard for her. We have reached incredible milestones already but we have a long road ahead; we are accepting donations for our housing project and every dollar is appreciated.

We invite you to explore the site and join us on the journey!
